I have represented Muxton Ward on Telford and Wrekin Council since May 2003, I have lived in Muxton since 1999 and before that Priorslee.  Originally from Wolverhampton, I have also lived and worked in London and Manchester, however Telford is home, though one day I plan to retire to Cyprus where I have a villa, but until then!

I ran my own business for 12 years, employing local Telford people, but before that I was a Chartered Accountant, which I have returned to now, I use my knowledge of Finance to challenge the Administration of Telford and Wrekin on areas such as their budget and previously I put together a rival budget.  I campaign for lower taxes and to get better services at lower cost for residents.  I have a separate website for my Portfolio Finance Director business.  I have previously held senior finance roles in organisations floated on the London Stock Market or larger private companies such as Legion Security Plc where I was FD for six years.

My interests include Travel, foreign languages (I speak German) and Search marketing – Previously ran a number of very popular international publishing websites.

My areas of interest on Telford and Wrekin Council include highways where I am currently the shadow cabinet member and resources where I am also the Shadow Cabinet member.   I’ve worked closely with Andrew Eade to prepare an alternative Conservative budget.

I promote recycling and regeneration and my vision of Telford is of a community that embraces and protects the natural world and one which is moving to a long term balance with it in terms of sustainability and energy generation.
